I really do believe life is too short to be quiet, and I am adding my voice to the cry for humanity. The following three articles include first-person accounts related to violence within the family, including men’s violence against women. Join in and join the conversations. Together, let’s help shine a light where abuse lurks.
Bare Naked Part I: My Journey into Violence
One man’s journey from loving husband to violent abuser. He is astonishingly frank and refreshingly honest. It takes guts and we appreciate his willingness to share his story in the hope that someone somewhere may benefit.
Bare Naked Part II: My Road to Recovery
The successes and failures, an ultimate betrayal and a new life.
Bare Naked Part III: Enabling Violence from Generation to Generation
A glimpse into the generational cycle of abuse, and the consequences of silence.

I found oyu over at http://okayfinedammit.com/?p=2536 and just had to come over and comment. I am glad to see people taking up the cause that Maggie has brought to light again with her wonderfully thoughtful ways.
I have started to use my blog as a sound board to slowly let out my personal story of 11 years of abuse from my father and 3 from my ex husband. The stories are going to be slow, but it still is cleansing and helps heal. Feel free to come check me out.
