Falling Out of Love
As deeply as I fell in love with blogging, I seem to have suddenly fallen out of love with it.
Eventually the pull to meander through multiple ideas, stories and the issues I care about will bring me back to this space, but for now I’m simply not enjoying the clicking and hopping required to be a participatory community member. I want to spend time unplugged, listening to my child giggle, and more time quietly rummaging through my mind to more fully develop the writing projects that don’t belong here.

I have been wondering where you have been and how you are doing. It sounds like you are doing what you are suppose to be doing right now. You are missed but it much better that you follow your heart then to be part of something your heart is just not in. I’ve struggled off and on, just simply because I have so much going on. It’s hard to write sometimes because my sheer honesty might come through sometimes. Mine is not a “ranting” blog, and I feel like that’s all I have sometimes, so I don’t.
I will keep you in my reader for when you re-appear.

I was feeling that way during the summer…(plus I got a little hooked on facebook
But now I have the urge to knock down the blogwebs and maybe do a little writing again.
Tricia…take all the time you need to listen to your child giggle and doing whatever your heart desire and write a blog whenever you are moved to. I feel pretty sure you will be back now and then to write. I think that was my biggest reason for taking the summer off..I felt pressured (I did it to myself) to write something daily…NO fun in that! Only what is in my heart from now on.

I’ve done this same thing, Tricia. I think it helped taking a long step back and seeing that there were other priorities in my life that needed tending and as much as I’ve missed everyone…..I’m enjoying a life apart from this computer again.
