I can't remember when I was surprised, may be the day in our Japanese concentration camp in August, when we heard the sound of a plane: "why is that Jap flying over us all the time?" Then we saw that the plane scattered pamphlets. A woman picked one up and read that the Japanese were defeated. All of a sudden the Dutch woman who was campleader came with a large Dutch flag ( red, white and blue, see my post of "that's My World" of last week Tuesday).That was a surprise! Happy sort of anniversary, Tricia! Like Jan, I'm not sure I could pick a favorite because I've had so many and they've all meant different things to me. I will say, the births of all my children and grandchildren are a given.......so it would have to be the day I met HBL.
