Wondering on Wednesday: Happy and Free
My husband took this picture of our son last Saturday and I can’t help but smile every time I look at it.

I’m Wondering on Wednesday: When was the last time you felt this happy and free?

I’m not entirely sure I’ve ever been that happy and free…

Wow, that is a tough question. Maybe when we were all piled on the beach last summer, taking pictures and laughing to hysterics.
It is a wonderful photo. You should keep it on your desk.

So precious! My goal is to have these happy and free moments in my life more frequently! It is tough sometimes but we need to allow them … why not? What do we have to lose by letting ourselves be happy and free!!!!????

Actually, yesterday. I was walking across the playground and saw some of my second grade girls (I’m a teacher’s aide) skipping out of the bathroom. So I skipped across the blacktop to meet them. They loved it — they were so surprised to see a grownup skipping!

Today! But now I need to go pee, which doesn’t make me feel free. It makes me have to stick close to modern plumbing.

I can’t remember when I’ve felt that free but I’ve been that happy several times recently. maybe I should go outside and skip and jump and….o.k. maybe not.

I am working on feeling that good. Thanks to you.
I soon hope to know what that feels like.
He is such a great kid. He makes me smile.
Love to you all

What a great picture! I don’t know if I have ever been that happy and free but honestly, it’s something I have been working on lately. I see my little ones run and laugh so freely and I wish that I could bottle it.

You’re right though. Little kids experience pure joy at the smallest things. The little girl across the street loves to run around in circles and the son of a friend is seven and gotten really good at biking and just rides up and down the street. I remember that: just wanting to ride back and forth.

Oh to feel the freedom and happiness of a child. Bottle that and you could make a fortune. I see what you mean. I can’t look without smiling either and I’ve never met Aaron except thru this blog.
