Blog Withdrawls
How is it possible that I haven’t written anything in two and a half weeks? I’m having blog withdrawls, which I think is a good thing. Perhaps it means this unexpected, self-imposed hiatius I’ve been on is just about over.
Have you ever experienced blog withdrawals? It’s not pretty. Kind of like the food poisoning I had last week, apparently brought on by a bad batch of mushrooms…and they weren’t even the kind of mushrooms rumored to create intoxicating douses of hallucinations…oh no, these were the legal organic variety.
I’ve also been buried in research as I try to navigate the idea that Aaron will start kindergarten this fall, and I’m not at all impressed with what the government has deemed “a good education”. Nor am I impressed in the tiniest bit with the methodologies our federal, state and local governments use to help children gain said education. Oh yes, my friends, I’ve been on a bender for the last two weeks and I’m sure you’re just dying to know what stick has climbed into my back end and has me spewing statistics and alternative rhetoric. Well, OK, so I know you’re not really dying to read my rant…but I do miss you and look forward to resuming a more normal writing schedule within the next few days. In the mean time, can I just send you a great big, downloadable hug?
Maybe I should have titled this, Knock Knock…Is anybody still out there

Oh, how I’ve missed you! I’ll read your education rant – hell, I’d read your grocery list.
I’m sorry you were ill last week.
Send the hug – I’ll return it!

Hey, glad to see you back — love to hear about anything you want to send at us! I surely can not complain, my blogging has been sporadic at best!

Of course I would love to read your education rant. I had noticed that you were absent but knew you would be back. I have been more absent then present in the blog world because of the craziness of life, which allows no time for such indulgences and I have been more exhausted then normal. I too, am hoping to catch my breathe and that life slows down so that these blog withdrawls will be put to peace. Glad you are going to be back soon!

Oh man I know the withdrawl you speak of. I don’t think I’ve gone even a week without blogging. I’m hopeless.
Hope you’ve got all that poisonous mushroom out of you.

I think it’s been a cosmic thing and we’ve all caught the same moon flu. Send the hugs. I’m always a willing participant for close encounters of my personal space…..but only from certain people.
