Yikes!! I haven’t had that happen to me, but I have deleted one comment…it was the second one I ever received, and it gave me a bit of a panic attack-was I sure I wanted to do this blogging thing? It was this guy who didn’t speak English very well and told me something was beautiful (that part didn’t make sense) and that he would see me tomorrow and he left his #. Ugh.

But my Dirty Sanchez blog got some nasty, nasty spam. Thanks to the Busty Babes!! They love my blog apparently.

Cross my fingers, I’ve been lucky so far. I’ve gotten a comment or two from spammers, but they haven’t been icky, more like “Make Money while blogging” type sites. They’ll leave a comment where it is clear that English is their 2nd language and sounds like a spam email. Something like, “Love you blog. Looks like your site is humor. Check out my mine at http://www.some-lame-ass-site.com”

When I left my email on my previous blog, I had porn spam sent to me like I was so desperate to see somebody’s c*cks or pu*sy! So, I removed the email addy from my blog.

Here I am writing about my frustrations and pain and here I get spamed!! grrrr!!!!

ps I am trying to cut down on the cursing, tho. Hmmm…infertility made me swear like a sailor!

Hi there. I’m none too keen on too much foul language, either. However, it really doesn’t upset me too much if it is used appropriately and sparingly. When is it appropriate? Good question. I think it is appropriate, perhaps, when all other alternatives have been exhausted and instead of saying nothing at all, I am compelled to to explicate. Like when I drop a vacuum cleaner on my bare big toe. It’s truly amazing how quickly all other alternative expressions are used up and in fact vanish entirely when something like that happens.

Do I feel an overwhelming need to write using those sorts of words? Rarely, and not on someone else’s website/blog, do I find it necessary.

There is my two cents. I hope it was worth at least that much.

On foul language, I agree with everyone who said they’d rather not read a lot of cursing. In my humble opinion, the big ole F word should be saved for very, very special occasions, otherwise it completely loses its impact.
