Hey Trish. I lost you for a while, but, now I found you again. I subscribed this time, so you’ll probably be sick of me commenting soon.

Anyway, I agree with you on the whole religion thing. I also have “different” views on God. And I don’t believe in church, which makes it a little difficult in my house. I certainly wouldn’t want a cross on my blog, mostly because of the standard beliefs it implies.

I am surprised that you remeber that Tricia, about the spam sandwich. It was cheap. Anyway I agree that relegion should not be preachd to thoese that are on the fence. I do belive but would never ask it of you. Or anyone else as it goes. Funny read, you keep us all lauging and longing for more

Memarie Lane: I completely agree. I’d feel the same way if it was any other religious icon as well … a star of David, etc. I put on my to-do-list to send the hosts a note and let then know that this isn’t quite kosher (ignore the pun). Having a religious icon of any faith on your blog brings forth so many immediate assumptions from readers, and unless you’re trying to elicit those assumptions, well…

Judy: I didn’t even know they still made Spam, as in the kind you are supposed to be able to eat. Ughhh. I remember my Mom making spam sandwiches when I was a kid.
